Dermal Filler Treatments

Replace lost volume to the face to restore a youthful glow

Dermal filler is a form of Hyaluronic acid (HA) which naturally occurs in the body when you are young and gradually reduces over your lifetime. Dermal filler provides the same effects of HA which aids in reducing fine lines, scars and increasing volume within skin and lips. The treatment is generally undertaken around the mid- and lower face.

This dermal filler is injected into specific areas of the skin, in order to help smooth wrinkles, re-shape, plump scars and existing skin e.g. the lips. The aim of this is to smooth and enhance the skin, creating a more youthful and fresher appearance. The impact of dermal fillers in the area in the “what areas can be treated section” are usually instant and typically last 12 – 18 months. They can safely be reapplied when the body breaks down the injected treatment, so maintaining the fresher and more youthful appearance you have created.

  • Naso-labial lines: (often deep lines appearing between the nose and mouth)
  • Marionette lines: (smile lines in the corners of the mouth)
  • Vertical lip lines: usually fine lines appearing above the lips towards the nose, which can be caused by a variety of factors including smoking
  • Frown lines: lines appearing between the eyes, with varying degrees of severity
  • Forehead lines: horizontal lines appearing across the forehead
  • Tear trough: lines unevenness and dark circles under the eyes can be treated.

This is our signature precision treatment which contours, defines and enhances the lips.

Following an in-depth consultation, discussing the desired results and explaining the treatment process, the Doctor/Clinician will prescribe the filler (hyaluronic acid) which is best suited and will give the client the best results.

  • Prior to treatment, should the client require, a topical anaesthetic or dental block can be used to reduce discomfort of the treatment. A number of fillers do already incorporate a local anaesthetic.
  • Once the Anaesthetic has taken effect, (if selected) then the Doctor/Clinician will strategically inject the hyaluronic acid into specific areas depending on desired results and requirements.
  • This will not only improve the shape but increase volume and reduce any localised wrinkles.

Cheek Augmentation

Remove the need for surgery to create smooth, even cheeks

Dermal fillers are carefully injected along the cheekbone to contour, plump and define, until the desired result is achieved.
Dermal fillers are an effective way of smoothing and/or adding definition to specific parts of the face including the cheek area. The ageing process typically causes a loss in volume and greater sagging of the skin as tone is lost, which dermal fillers can help to correct. Minor deformities either from birth or through injury, could also see significant improvement by undertaking dermal filler.

Tear Trough Treatment

Non-surgical treatment to smooth and refresh the eye area

Tear trough rejuvenation is a non-surgical aesthetic treatment for clients with low eyelid dark circles or hollows. This treatment can be done in conjunction with treating the area around the eyes, e.g. the crow’s feet, but coupled with dermal fillers aimed at tear troughs, the impact of both treatments is accentuated.

Tear troughs are caused mainly from loss of soft tissue volume in the cheek area or in the lower eyelid (orbital septum).

This then accentuates the dark circles, hollow appearance and lower eyelids. To reverse this complaint, a small amount of dermal filler is injected into precise areas along the hollowed area, gradually rebuilding and volumizing until the desired result is achieved.
